Tom Eltang has recently discontinue the mythical 'Golden Contrast' finish which made his name and his pipes famous all around the world. The pipe offered in this page shows in its full beauty this finish, which exalts the fantastic horizontal straigh grain on the sides and the dense birdseye on the front.

The pipe has been professionally cleaned. The mouthpiece is the original one and it has been sterilized. Our cleaning process could be considered as ‘conservation intervention’. We save all original stamps, marks and logos on the mouthpiece. The stain of the pipe is the original one and it is not modified at all. The chamber is cleaned from the carbon cake of the previous smoker. We apply a very light layer of vegetal carbon.
