Description
The Poker shape is one of the oldest made by the factory in Cantù. It has been remade this year to create the 60th Anniversary pipe, created to celebrate 60 years of pipemaking by the factory.
The pipe in this page is a numbered piece; it is the number 28 of 253 pipes made for the Limited Edition. The grain is very nice and close all around the tall bowl and it shows a close birdseye on the bottom and on the wide rounded rim. The chamber is capacious and it has thick walls. The round shank has a Sterling Silver Band, original and applyed by the factory in Cantù. The lightly bent saddled mouthpiece ends with a fishtail.
Stamping
CASTELLO COLLECTION (in an oval), MADE IN CANTU' ITALY, KINO (in an oval), Carlo Scotti sign, 60 (into the Castello logo), 28.253.
On the mouthpiece it is stamped: HAND MADE CASTELLO
Condition
The pipe is new, unsmoked.
Notes
The pipe will be shipped with an original Castello sock and a Castello box. |
