DESCRIPTION
The hawkbill (inverted bent apple) is one of the most popular shapes and it is one of the most appreciated. Luigi was the first pipemakers who was used to carve it when he worked at the Castello factory. He has reproduced it in several variants.
The pipe offered in this page is one of the most beautiful (and famous) interpretation by Luigi. The apple bowl is layed on the oval shank which has a very peculiar and plastic bent. It has an oval shank and it ends with a Sterling Silver original band. The grain is outstanding all around the bowl.
