I really appreciate the extraordinary job that Maurizio and Stefania Tombari make on their LE NUVOLE pipes. I've met Maurizio in 2003 during the Cagli pipe show and I felt in love with his pipes. Each of his pipe is a meeting of high quality seasoned briar, skilling in craftmanship, care of details and avanguardia in shaping and design.
Maurizio, Stefania and I cooperated in 2005, to create a special series of Le Nuvole pipes, designed by Stefania and exclusively sold at Neatpipes.com

Mimmo is one of my friends in the pipe world. I met him three years ago when I attended Chicago Pipe Show for the first time. I have been really impressed by his enthusiasm in his work and in developing "something new" to improve his business and passion. After that experience I learned a lot from Mimmo, about briar cutting and about pipe making. Neatpipes.com has been the first store who had Mimmo's pipes in Italy. I personally find his pipes full of Mimmo's personality: a Mimmo pipe contain the knowledge of a briar cutter and the skilling of a good artisan. Neatpipes.com does not carry Mimmo's pipes anymore, even if my respect for his pipe continue to be the same.
