The Liverpool shape is featured by a long round shank with short taper mouthpiece. The length of the shank must be at least the double of the height of the bowl.
The shape of the bowl is usually of a Classical Billiard, but it could change and we could find Liverpools with an Apple or Pot bowl.
If the pipe has a saddled mouthpiece it becomes a Lovat.

CONNECTED SHAPES

The Lovat is featured by a longer round shank but with a short saddled mouthpiece.

The basical shape is the Straight Classical Billiard, with cylindrical bowl and round shank.
