
The Lovat shape is featured by a long round shank with a short saddled mouthpiece. The length of the shank must be at least the double of the height of the bowl.
The shape of the bowl is usually cylindric like a Classical Billiard, but it could change and we could find Lovats with an Apple or Pot bowl.
If the pipe has a taper mouthpiece it becomes a Liverpool.
